The honeydew melon's characteristic pale green flesh and honeyed sweetness make it one of the most refreshing summer fruits — high water content, gentle sweetness, and a clean, mild flavour that pairs easily with both savoury and sweet accompaniments.

Ripeness Check
Press gently at the stem end — slight give with a floral, sweet aroma indicates ripeness. The skin should be smooth and waxy with an even pale yellow-green colour; white or bright green skin indicates under-ripeness. A hollow sound when tapped is a good sign.
Serving Ideas
Halved and seeded as a natural bowl for fruit salad. Sliced and wrapped in prosciutto di Parma for a classic Italian antipasto. Cubed in a mint-lime fruit salad. Blended with ginger and coconut water for a cooling summer drink. Pair with feta, cucumber, and mint for a Greek-inspired summer salad.
Ingredients
Honeydew Melon (100%).
How to Store
Uncut: ripen at room temperature for 1–3 days if not fully ripe, then refrigerate. Cut: wrap tightly in cling film or store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 5 days. The melon absorbs refrigerator odours easily — store separately from strong-smelling foods.
