Royal Canin Anallergenic

Designed for dogs with confirmed or suspected food allergies where standard protein and carbohydrate sources have failed — Royal Canin Anallergenic uses hydrolysed feather protein and a single purified carbohydrate to eliminate the immune response triggers that cause chronic food allergy symptoms.

Clinical Allergy Management

• Hydrolysed Feather Protein — Protein molecules are broken down to below the threshold size that triggers IgE-mediated immune response; clinically, this means the dog's immune system does not recognise the protein fragment as an antigen — the mechanism behind an allergic reaction.
• Single Carbohydrate Source — Maize starch as the sole carbohydrate; eliminates the multiple carbohydrate antigens present in standard formulations that contribute to allergic sensitisation.
• Strict Manufacturing Controls — Manufactured in a dedicated facility with strict cross-contamination prevention; critical for elimination diet protocols where trace amounts of allergens can maintain sensitisation.
• Omega-3 Anti-Inflammatory Support — EPA and DHA reduce the inflammatory response in skin and gut that accompanies food allergy reactions.

Indications

Dogs with confirmed food allergy via exclusion diet trial, dogs with chronic skin conditions (pruritus, recurrent pyoderma) suspected to have a dietary component, and dogs with chronic gastrointestinal symptoms (vomiting, diarrhoea, flatulence) of suspected dietary origin.
