Spar Morning Bliss Coffee — a smooth, medium-roast blend crafted to deliver a consistent, approachable cup every morning, without the bitterness that accompanies darker roasts or the acidity of lighter ones.

Blend Profile

Morning Bliss is formulated as a breakfast coffee: the medium roast preserves the natural sweetness of the Brazilian and Colombian origins in the blend while developing enough roast character to hold its own with milk. The result is a cup that works as well with full-fat milk and sugar as it does as a straight black coffee, making it the true household all-rounder.

Origin

South American blend (Brazil Santos base, Colombian mountain altitude coffee). Brazil Santos provides the smooth chocolate and nut base notes; Colombian coffee contributes the bright, clean finish. Roasted in the Netherlands to Spar's own specification.

Brewing

Optimised for filter coffee machines and French press (8–10g per 200ml of water at 90–93°C). Also performs well in a stovetop Moka pot for a stronger, espresso-adjacent result. Not recommended for super-automatic bean-to-cup machines (use the bean version instead).

Ingredients

100% Arabica coffee, roasted and ground. Intensity: 4/10.

Storage

Store in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight. Once opened, keep sealed or transfer to an airtight container. Consume within 4 weeks of opening for best flavour.
